Boys and Girls Track Teams Win Home Quad Meet

Congratulations to both the boys and girls track teams for beating West-Oak, Walhalla, and Palmetto last night. 8 different Blue Flame athletes won at least one event as the team had its strongest outing of the year. Great job Blue Flame.

Pancake Breakfast

The Pickens TD Club will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast at the Gatehouse Restaurant on Saturday, April 9th from 7:30-10:00am. Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, grits, and a drink. See any Blue Flame football player or coach to get your tickets ($10 each).

Spring Football Fundraisers

We are currently in the middle of a couple spring fundraising campaigns for our TD Club.  Our players are selling cookie dough, tumblers, and cheese cakes until the week of April 4th.  You may also purchase any of over 3,000 items from the online store and have them delivered directly to you when paying online

Track Finishes Second at Seneca

Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams for their second place performances at Seneca last night.  Jada Robinson, Sarah Stewart, Aakil Sitton, Jamal Blythe, Dylan O’Shields, and Ridge Clark all won an individual event with several relays winning as well.  Great job to both teams.

Coach Butler Named Region 1 AAA Athletic Director of the Year

Stan Butler, PHS Athletic Director, was recently named the Region 1 AAA Athletic Director of the Year at the annual South Carolina Athletic Administrators Association conference in Charleston, SC from March 14-16. The region Athletic Directors vote on this award each year. This is Coach Butler’s third year as AD at Pickens High.

Track Teams Defeat Liberty and Carolina

Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams for defeating Liberty and Carolina last night. Ridge Clark and Aakil Sitton won 2 events each for the boys and Jada Robinson and Sabrina Stewart each won events for the girls. Great job to both teams.
