PHS Golf Team in 7th after Day 1

Paced by a 2-over par 74 by sophomore Drew Turner, the PHS Golf Team ended Day 1 of the Region 1-AAA tournament in 7th place.  Drew Turner stands alone in second place on the individual leaderboard.  With 4 spots available for the upperstate team tournament the Blue Flame will need to make up 16 shots

Boys Golf Team Beats Liberty on Senior Night

Congratulations to the PHS Boys Golf team for their victory on senior night over Liberty. All 6 seniors performed well led by Trey Adams with a 37. Great job guys!!

Physicals Saturday 5-2-15

  Athletic Physicals will be given at Blue Ridge Orthopedic on Saturday, May 2 at 8:30am for all returning PHS athletes. Lady Blue Flame defeat Palmetto 3 – 0

On senior night at Blue Flame Field the Pickens Lady Blue Flame Soccer team defeated Palmetto in a Region 1-AAA match 3 – 0.  The Lady Blue Flame were paced by senior Tessa Dunaway’s 3 goals, great defense, and another shut-out by senior Sara Dooley.  The Lady Blue Flame play their final regular season game
