Multiple Teams · Blue Flame Cross Country Compete at the Hurricane Invitational


On Saturday, the Blue Flame Cross Country participated in the Hurricane Invitational at Wren High School. In the Varsity Girls race, 7th grader Grace Newman and Senior Amber Saitta both finished top 10 in the race with a time of 21:11, 7th overall, and 21:12, 8th overall, in the race. Freshman Juliana Hernandez ran another personal record time of 24:12. In the JV Girls race, Freshman Beyla Carpenter paced the Lady Blue Flame with a time of 24:46 and Junior Dylan Bryant ran a personal record time of 26:22 for the Lady Blue Flame.

 

In the Varisty Boys race, Senior Dylan Bray paced the Blue Flame runners with another personal record time of 17:46 and 12th place overall in the race.  Senior Jackson Masters ran another personal record time of 18:40 and 8th grader Parker Hendricks ran a personal record time of 20:13.

 

The Blue Flame will be in action this week at the Pickens County Championships hosted by Liberty High School on Wednesday, September 23rd.
